Danish CS:GO superstar Nicolai Hvilshøj Reedtz (dev1ce) has returned to Astralis, where he spent the best years of his career. He became a four-time MAJOR winner with Astralis, making him one of the best AWP players in CS:GO history.
dev1ce will replace his compatriot Asger Jensen (Farlig), in his home team. He had to part with his favorite job for 11 months due to health problems. The Danish star last played for ‘Ninjas in Pyjamas.’ The team crashed out in the quarterfinals at the Stockholm MAJOR, causing dev1ce to decide to leave the organization, and now he’s very happy to be back at Astralis:
“Home again. I can’t even describe how happy I am to be back here. This team is very close to my heart. Everyone knows that this is a special organization with great values. I am ready to help Astralis build its future,” he said.
The Danish organization did not disclose the financial details of the transfer. According to them, dev1ce signed a multi-year contract with the team. The updated line-up of Astralis looks like this: Lukas Rossander (gla1ve), Andreas Højsleth (Xyp9x), Benjamin Bremer (blameF), Nicolai Hvilshøj Reedtz (dev1ce), and Mikkel Thomsen (MistR).
