Manuel Neuer will not miss the World Cup 2022

The head coach of Bayern Munich, Julian Nagelsmann, reassured the fans of the German national team – goalkeeper Manuel Neuer will be able to recover for the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
The goalkeeper and captain of the Bayern and Germany team, who missed some time due to a shoulder injury, last played against Dortmund on October 8. There was a threat that Neuer would have to miss the upcoming World Cup.
According to Julian Nagelsmann, the 36-year-old goalkeeper may already play in the 13th round of the Bundesliga match. Bayern will play against Hertha on November 5.
“Everyone can sleep peacefully. We made progress in the last week, he was already doing special training for goalkeepers. It is possible that he will return to the field in the next weekend’s match against Hertha. However, we have to monitor his condition every day,” said the Bayern coach.
In the current season, Manuel Neuer played in 13 matches, scored 11 goals, and kept a clean sheet in 6 games.
The German national team will play in Group E at the World Cup in Qatar, held from November 20 to December 18. Spain, Costa Rica, and Japan will be the rivals of “Die Mannschaft”.
