Romelu Lukaku may be missing the World Cup 2022 in Qatar. The Belgian striker of Inter Milan is injured again.
Lukaku was injured back in August, due to which he could not play for exactly 2 months and was able to return a week ago. He first played against Plzeň (and scored a goal), then against Sampdoria, but this time he got a hip injury and returned to the infirmary.
So far, the exact extent of the injury is unknown. However, it is clear that he will miss the next few matches. Since Nerazzurri have only 4 matches left before the World Cup break, Romelu will likely not be able to help the Italian club in 2023.
Gazzetta Dello Sport writes that it is doubtful that the Belgian player will be able to travel to the World Cup. In the coming days, a medical examination will determine the exact extent of the damage.
We remind you that Romelu Lukaku played 5 times in all tournaments this season. He managed to score 2 goals. As you may already know, the World Cup 2022 will start in Qatar on November 20.
