Didier Deschamps, the head coach of the French national team, named the World Cup 2022 squad. As expected, Real Madrid’s young midfielder Eduardo Camavinga was included in the team, but no other player from Ancelotti’s side – including the left-back Ferland Mendy. There are 25 players on the list. Thus, coach Deschamps has the right to add one more.
Although Varane is injured, he is on the list, and Deschamps insists Manchester United’s defender will be fit for November 22 (against Australia). N’Golo Kante will not be able to recover. He will be the biggest loss of “Le Bleus” in Qatar.
